About us
Camel Storage Ltd was established in 2009 as a containerised self-storage business, the first in the area, operating out of Wadebridge.
Good quality, local and accessible storage proved extremely popular. When booking a container customers often asked about van hire and when the opportunity arose in 2014 to acquire the local vehicle hire business that had been based in Wadebridge since the 1970’s, we jumped at it and Camel Hire Ltd was born.
In 2020 with our Wadebridge site running well we purchased a modern and well located warehouse in Bodmin, allowing us to develop a further 20,000 square feet of accessible self-storage with units in a variety of sizes to suit customer needs and all within a fully insulated building.
These days, with 2 sites, a wide range of modern rental vans and nearly 80,000 sq feet dedicated to self-storage we are the largest and most established business of our kind in the area.
Our systems are developed in-house and audited by third parties helping to assure that our customers have a professional and positive experience whether they are renting a van or storing their goods with us.
